The job
You wish to undertake a leading role and manage the mechanical team and its skills, while working closely with our customers to develop drug delivery devices. You will report to the project manager and be responsible for the mechanical designs of the devices to ensure that they are of the highest quality possible. As our customers and suppliers are international, the position will require 10-20 days of business travel annually.

Qualifications
You have a relevant theoretical education, e.g. as a qualified engineer, and you have knowledge of mechanical design and development.

You are an enthusiastic individual; you emphasise partnerships, both in-house and externally, and you can deliver the optimal effort. As the work is project-orientated it is important that you are a team player and that you thrive in a job where the working day is busy and challenging.

It would be a plus if you have experience in one or more of the following areas:

. Pro-E
. Geometric Product Specification (GPS)
. Construction in plastic
. Documentation of mechanics for medical products
. Design risk analysis
. Distributed development teams
