The Department
Bang & Olufsen Medicom is the leading designer, developer and supplier of innovative Drug Delivery Devices and sensor-based technologies for world class pharmaceutical companies.

The company is experiencing accelerating demand for its products and product development services. We offer an exciting position in which you will help to create the next generation of unique medical products. You will be a part of our project organisation, working from concept to finished product, developing products such as inhalers and tablet dispensers.

The job
Working closely with customers (typically international pharmaceutical companies), you understand how to manage new product development projects. We develop products that have unique industrial design and function. These products help to ensure that patients take the correct dosage of medicine at the right time. The development process encompasses the sales process stage; discussing possible solutions with customers; concept development; design; documentation and final production. You will be required to travel and to be in daily contact with the customer.

Qualifications
You have at least five years of project management experience, ideally within the medical or pharmaceutical industry. The Medical Device Industry is subject to very strict documentation and process standards. You have a thorough understanding of how these aspects influence the completion of a project. You may have business-to-business project experience, ideally with international projects. You have experience in dealing with subcontractors and are good at negotiation.

You have a relevant academic qualification, e.g. as a qualified engineer, with a sound technical and theoretical knowledge, enabling you to be pro-active in these project areas. You must be flexible, cooperative and communicative, as you will be in close contact with the rest of the organisation and customers. You are enterprising and inventive. You understand the importance of listening to the customer and of creating solutions that satisfy the customer. You work in a structured fashion, with focus on your team and you get results.
