The intelligent pen cap 'C-Cap' (pictured left), is based on the Medicom philosophy of helping the patient remain compliant (reminding them to take their medication at the correct intervals and track their dosage) via visual and acoustic signals. The technology registers each time the patient removes and replaces the cap, this movement is registered as a dose taken. It furthermore indicates to the patient how well the treatment has been followed for a given period of time, typically the last week. 

Customisable

This is available in a fully customisable format for any durable or disposable pen system. C-Cap can also be produced in the form of a pen stand; once the pen itself has been inserted in the pen stand the patient's treatment routine is registered. In return, the patient receives a visual signal based on a traffic light system (red signifies poor compliance, yellow is average and green is good).
