Bang & Olufsen Medicom will present at the 3rd Annual Diabetes Conference in London on January 18th to showcase its lessons learned in moving from a consumer electronics company to a specialist in the design and development of medical devices. In particular, the presentation by international key account manager, Hans-Erik Gording, will focus on the therapeutic area of Diabetes and will offer a cross- industry perspective on technology development.
Attendees will be able to hear how Bang & Olufsen Medicom views the subject of technology development on day two of the conference from 3:40 to 4.00pm. The presentation will focus on what is driving innovation and how Bang & Olufsen Medicom takes advantage of its consumer electronics heritage from Bang & Olufsen when developing medical devices. The presentation will be supported by two case studies; one on how to improve patient compliance and the bottom line by using the Helping Hand tablet dispenser and the other detailing the Insulair® breath-actuated pMDI for pulmonary insulin delivery.
