Presentation in Sweden to showcase wireless patient compliance solutions
Copenhagen March 27, 2006. Bang & Olufsen Medicom will be a featured speaker at the Smart and Intelligent Packaging conference in Stockholm, March 29-30. Hans. J. Jensen, Manager New Business will present on Wednesday the 29th of March at 10.20 in the Scandic Ariadne Hotel in Stockholm. This year’s conference will highlight ground-breaking and intelligent innovations in the field of packaging.
The conference organisers claim that today’s consumers require more from packaging than ever before and the programme will include case studies from leaders in the field of advanced packaging solutions.
In addition, there is a sharp focus during the conference on intelligent packaging solutions in use today. The two day event will examine the various technologies from the food, medical and technology sectors. The conference will also address the struggles related to today’s packaging companies and will discuss topics such as bioterrorism, counterfeiting, tracking and error prevention along with how important smart packaging is to a company’s branding.
Mr. Jensen will present a case study on “Effective and unique intelligent packaging” and will reveal the results of a pilot study comparing the leading patient compliance ‘gold standard’ to Medicom's clinical trial version of the Helping HandTM which measures the exact time a tablet is taken. This is effective for both the patient, the physician measuring and the pharmaceutical company to get an exact feedback on how effective the drug regime has been.
